The Guide

Size & Fit

A clear, measured guide to choosing your size, understanding how each fabric fits, and what to do if you sit between two.

How our fit works

Our pieces are cut for movement first. That means a slightly longer body in compression pieces, a dropped shoulder in fleece, and a hem that stays put when you reach overhead. The fit is close but never restrictive, and it is designed to work as a layer as well as on its own.

Unless a product page says otherwise, our garments are cut to a regular athletic fit: fitted through the shoulder and chest, eased through the body. If you prefer a cleaner, closer line, take your usual size. If you prefer room to layer, take the next size up.

Measuring yourself

Use a soft tape measure over light clothing, keep it level and snug without compressing the body, and stand naturally rather than holding your breath. If you only have time for one measurement, take the chest or bust — it is the most reliable guide to the rest of the garment.

  • ·Chest or bust — around the fullest point, with the tape under the arms.
  • ·Waist — around the narrowest point of the torso, usually just above the navel.
  • ·Hip — around the fullest point of the seat, feet together.
  • ·Inseam — from the crotch seam to the hem of a pair of trousers that already fit you well.

Size chart

Measurements below are body measurements in centimetres, not garment measurements. Where a piece is cut oversized, the product page will say so.

If you fall between two sizes

For compression and swim, size down: these fabrics are cut to hold close and will relax slightly with wear. For fleece and outer layers, size up, particularly if you plan to wear a base layer underneath.

Between a short and regular leg length, choose the shorter option for compression tights and the longer for relaxed pieces. If you are still unsure, message us with your usual size in another brand and the piece you are looking at, and we will tell you which size we would send.

Exchanges and returns

Fit is the most common reason a piece comes back, so we keep returns straightforward. Unworn items with tags attached can be returned within 30 days of delivery, and exchanges for a different size are free of charge. Full details, including how to start a return, are in our shipping policy.
